Amber Nims, MS, CCC-SLP
As a Pensacola resident and founder of Soundside Therapy, I am passionate about helping children and families in our community build confident communication skills. I hold a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida State University, along with degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Nursing, and Elementary & Exceptional Student Education. I am licensed by the Florida Department of Health and maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I am fully licensed and insured.
My professional experience as a teacher, behavior coach, and speech-language pathologist has given me a strong foundation in supporting children with diverse communication needs. I specialize in speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, language delays, social communication, fluency, and AAC.
Helping children communicate is what inspires me every day. Children bring so much energy, curiosity, and joy to every session, and I feel privileged to be part of their journey. One of the most rewarding parts of being a speech-language pathologist is watching a child gain confidence as they learn new ways to communicate and connect with others. My goal is to help every child find their voice, build meaningful relationships, and feel confident expressing who they are.
